Environmentally Protected Areas of Mexico Download

Google Earth is or is fast becoming the most popular platform to present geographically referenced data. We use Google Earth and the related tools like the Google Earth API to present project location data right here on MxMining.

We'd like to make available for free to our users the Google Earth data set we use that shows where the protected areas of Mexico are according to INEGI.

MxMining makes this information, along with a lot of other information related to mining available as a Google Earth network link for a very reasonable fee.

If you haven't tried it, Google Earth is free and easy to use and is available at http://earth.google.com.

Free Mexico Mining and Exploration Project Tour

We've made available a short, free, Google Earth tour of some of the mining and exploration projects in Mexico. Getting set up to view the Mexico Mining Tour is easy.

Remember - sign up for a membership to get all the benefits of the MxMining site.

Mining and Exploration Projects by Target Mineral

This is a pie graph of all the mine and exploration projects that are listed on MxMining organized into target minerals. Some projects may have multiple target minerals, each mine that has an occurrence of the target mineral in their target is counted.

Minerals are listed as per their respective symbol in the Periodic Table.

The large pie graph is built dynamically when you view the page - for this reason direct linking to the graphic is not possible. However, feel free to include the static graphic in any presentation of your own as long as the title in the graphic is not altered or removed.

Mines and Exploration Projects per Mexico State

This is a pie graph of all the mine and exploration projects that are listed on MxMining organized into how many projects there are per state.

The Mexican states that have a mine or exploration project listed on MxMining are labeled with the ISO 3166-2 Abbreviated 3 Letter State Code.

The large pie graph is built dynamically when you view the page - for this reason direct linking to the graphic is not possible. However, feel free to include the static graphic in any presentation of your own as long as the title in the graphic is not altered or removed.
