Many lives are lost every year by people challenging the flood waters during the rainy season. Those bone dry arroyos turn into raging rivers within minutes. If you know anything about water you know it's really hard to hold it back. This picture was taken in eastern Sonora and the people you see on the other side risked going across. Luckily the water wasn't high enough to push too hard on the side of the truck and they made it across.
